We are headed to Summer Camp at Cherokee Scout Reservation in Yancyville, NC for the week of June 17-23. The Leader's Guide just came out and is attached.

Seven scouts completed the Orienteering Merit Badge at Pipsico this past weekend. It was a rigorous program put on by Mark Montague, one of the top Orienteerer's in the U.S.

I need leaders for pipsico Summer Camp. We have a few people going and I need to be able to show 2 deep leadership.
If you are interested please let me know (or Sign up online) The Signup is for July 8-14. We have a Site reserved for these dates and any Scouts who sign up and pay a $25 deposit will get the Early bird fee of $240.00 (otherwise it costs $260.00). BOYS NEED TO PAY THEIR $25 Deposit ASAP for Pipsico.

Troop 901 attains Gold Level recognition in BSA's Journey to Excellence program.
This award is recognition for the high level program delivered by the volunteers of Troop 901.

Summer Camp is a big part of the Boy Scout program. It is a great chance for older boys to show leadership and a fun time for all.
They earn merit badges, get lots of rank advancement signoffs and learn to live and socialize in a group. It is my hope that every boy in Troop 901 can go to summer camp this year.
